Earlier this month, Seattle Magazine, Gossip & Glamour, and Styled Seattle brought the Seattle blogging community together to celebrate fashion and go back in time a little bit with Isaac Mizrahi’s film from the mid 90’s Unzipped. I really love documentary films, and I have a soft spot for watching creatives doing what they love. It’s really something special to watch them create something from just a vision and bring it to fruition. Seeing the pride in Isaac Mizrahi’s eyes the day after his show that year is like no other feeling.
We celebrated with champagne (and popcorn of course), lashes by Noir Lash Lounge, fashion sketches by Drawing Blueberry and a photo booth thanks to Luminosity Photobooth. All proceeds from ticket sales went to the Rivkin Center in honor of Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. It was such a fun way to kick off fashion month.
A few bloggers, including yours truly, each partnered with a different retailer in downtown Seattle’s Pacific Place to showcase the best of the best of Seattle and 90’s fashion.
Thanks to Barneys for my 90’s-tastic outfit
