I was recently invited by my friends at The Fearey Group and the Moxy Hotel for a little staycation in South Lake Union. Just two days after they opened their doors, a group of us were welcomed with open arms and their signature cocktail. (Which all guests receive upon check-in because the front desk is actually the bar and the attendants are actually bartenders). My kinda place.

We were then treated to (more) cocktails and a few of their naan flatbreads – my favorites were the veggie w/hummus, and make sure you order the breakfast naan in the morning. And we got a full history lesson from Seattle native “Captain Jerry”, Moxy’s General Manager and our gracious host.

Whether you’re in town for a short time or you’re a Seattle resident, head to the Moxy for nothing short of a good time. The lobby is chock-full of games to play with whoever you came with, but made even better if you invite the people next to you to join, including a teeter-totter – yes, you read that right.
