We all kind of have two wardrobes, right? One for the warm half of the year, one for the cold. (I’m hastily assuming most of you are in a place that has 4 seasons). I happily put away my shorts, tank tops, sandals, neatly folded in a plastic bin to live in the basement for the next 6 months. I prefer dressing for fall/winter hands down over warm weather. But there are those few pieces you want to be able to wear all year round. Enter: layers.
I actually bought this dress at the end of the summer season, so it never even saw warmer weather. I got it with the intention of layering over it for the colder months. Here I have it with white tennis shoes (because I try to wear white tennis shoes every moment I can), but I will also wear it with white or black booties at some point. You could also put an oversized sweater over it instead of a leather jacket to add a little extra coziness.
